Summer Research Opportunities
UCSD is a premier educational institution ranked among the top 10 in the nation. Our faculty is rated first nationally among public institutions in science productivity. We strongly encourage our undergraduates to become an integral part of the cutting edge research that is taking place on the campus in all academic fields. Getting involved in research and working side by side with faculty, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows is highly promoted at UCSD.

Research opportunities are plentiful during the academic year as well as during the summer months. Two annual Undergraduate Research Conferences provide a forum for students to present their findings and to discuss them with fellow students and faculty.

This site provides an entry point for students interested in getting involved in undergraduate research.
