A large portion of the costly damage to library materials is a direct result of food and beverage consumption. We and your fellow library users appreciate your cooperation with helping keep our materials undamaged.

No food or drinks are allowed in the UCSD Libraries at any time.The only exceptions to this policy are beverages contained in the official UCSD Libraries spill-proof mug with the lid securely fastened or clear water bottles with leak-proof tops.

This is the only offically approved drink container allowed for use in the UCSD Libraries. You can purchase this mug at the following locations:
