Opportunities Abroad

Education Abroad Program/Opportunities Abroad Program (EAP/OAP)
Study abroad can significantly enhance a student's undergraduate Major, particularly in ways in which it relates to international issues. Students are encouraged to study abroad before their senior year. Students who take Education Abroad Program (EAP) courses in a country appropriate to the Major in Latin American Studies may use a maximum of five upper division courses to satisfy Major requirements. These courses must be reviewed and approved by the department after they have been entered as general education credit on the student's official record at UCSD.
