At UCSD many members serve the community as liturgical ministers. Roles of service to the community at worship include: Eucharististic Ministers who distribute the Eucharist to the community at Mass. Some serve as Ministers of the Bread, others as Ministers of the Cup. Ministers of the Word who read the scriptures at Mass Ministers of Community who welcome individuals to the community and help prepare for liturgy. Training in these roles is offered at the beginning of Fall Quarter.
