The Community
We are the Catholic students, faculty and staff at the University of California, San Diego, united with other families and individuals in a common mission: to celebrate our Catholic faith, to bring our involvement with the University and our faith into creative and prophetic dialogue, and to provide an environment of welcome, hospitality, and nurture for Christian growth, leadership, development and outreach. We are a ministry of the Dominican Fathers, founded by the Paulist Fathers and commissioned by the Diocese of San Diego since 1966.
Together we celebrate God's love for us in the Eucharist. We gather for retreats, classes and other programs for the development of our faith. We help to address the needs of service projects, and other social justice concerns. We foster dialogue between people of different faiths, and we encourage social events that enable us to grow as a community in the stature of Christ.
